Acura's entry-level sports coupe continues to offer decent value and performance for those who favor sophistication and comfort over flat-out muscle. It offers an accommodating interior and attractive exterior styling with tenacious roadholding abilities.

A 160-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is available with either a five-speed-manual or five-speed-automatic transmission. The sportier Type-S version, meanwhile, substitutes a high-output 200-horsepower 2.0-liter engine that's mated to a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox, and rides on a tauter suspension.

Four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes are standard, along with front-side airbags, a power moonroof, automatic air conditioning, a CD stereo, and alloy wheels.
