How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

The Volvo V60 marks the return of the Volvo wagon to U.S.

markets, but it's not the big old boxy wagon you remember.

If you want that kind of cargo capacity and family-friendliness, go for the Volvo XC60 on the same showroom floor--crossovers are the new wagons.

The new V60 instead competes with luxury sportwagons like the BMW 3-Series wagon, the Audi Allroad based on its A4 sedan, and the rare Acura TSX wagon.

Like those models, the V60 prioritizes sport-sedan handling--and of course Volvo safety--over cargo capacity.

The BMW 3-Series wagon, available with xDrive all-wheel drive, is a longstanding entrant in the small sportwagon segment, but it can get pricey.

The Audi Allroad returned last year, bringing back a respected label by adding a bit of ground clearance to an A4 quattro wagon, and received good reviews.

The Acura TSX also got rave reviews, but largely disappeared amidst Acura's continuing sales of crossover utilities, and its fate remains uncertain.
