How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

The 2015 Subaru Legacy remains one of the few models in its class to widely offer all-wheel drive.

Chrysler offers AWD on its 2015 200 sedan, but the 200 has a cramped back seat and lower gas mileage than the Legacy.

The Honda Accord and Nissan Altima remain somewhat sporty but very much mainstream entries, with roomy back seats, smooth rides, and refined cabins.

The Accord is also this year offered in Hybrid form.

We like the Ford Fusion for its sophisticated feel behind the wheel, and for its design and cabin appointments, which feel a price class above.

The Mazda6 is probably our choice for best-driving in this class, but it has what, until this year, has been a major handicap for Subaru—sluggish, primitive infotainment systems.
