How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

The new Chevrolet Malibu--also from GM--has a more contemporary and comfortable interior, along with improved powertrain refinement, while not costing much more than the G6.

Otherwise, the 2008 Pontiac G6 doesn't compete with the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, so much as it does against the Ford Fusion and Nissan Altima.

Next to the G6, the Fusion feels sportier, with its crisp, direct steering and responsive engines, but the G6 has a more spacious backseat than either the Fusion or Altima.

The Altima stands out for its simple but very tasteful interior design and nice materials.

The Avenger could also be considered an alternative to the G6; the Dodge has a reasonably roomy interior, but its base four-cylinder engine is especially loud and coarse, and its interior appointments have a bargain-basement feel.

The 2009 Ford Fusion is a great choice for those who place their priorities on style and handling, but if interior space matters to you, look elsewhere.

The 2008 Dodge Avenger’s styling is refreshingly different in a same-as field of sedans, but otherwise it’s behind the curve.

The 2008 Nissan Altima is a little sportier, though not less sensible.
