The 2012 Nissan Titan comes in a single powertrain configuration, which puts it at a disadvantage with the leaders of its class.

The Ford F-150 has four new engines with great gas mileage and muscular power ratings--and the F-150 has SYNC, too.

The Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are a little dated themselves, but their wide range of powertrains and bed lengths makes them a great choice for commercial duty.

The Ram 1500 is no longer a Dodge, but the butch Dodge look remains--and the Ram is one of the best-riding, best-trimmed full-size trucks, period.

The Toyota Tundra isn't quite the sales fail that the Titan is, but its odd styling and very tall proportions are off-putting, though its quiet, strong performance is just the opposite.
