2011 Nissan Juke vs. Its Competition

The closest direct competitor to the 2011 Nissan Juke is probably the 2011 Suzuki SX4, a small and cheerful all-wheel-drive hatchback.

But the SX4 is aging, noisy, and not well equipped against the new, refined, and nicely featured Juke.

The Honda Fit, on the other hand, is a more flexible and capacious five-door subcompact, but neither offers all-wheel drive nor has anything like the Juke’s street presence.

The Mazda Mazda3 handles equally well, with more practical packaging, but again, there’s no all-wheel drive.

Back to small hatchbacks, the Kia Soul has visual flair and a whole lot more interior space than the Juke, but it's a lot less entertaining to drive.

Quick Specs
7.0
The 2011 Nissan Juke is fun to drive, pleasant, and well-equipped. You’ll buy it despite the lousy gas mileage and because of—or despite—its unique looks.
8.0
The 2011 Honda Fit is like a mini-minivan in some respects, with an incredibly space-efficient design; yet it's peppy, frugal, and fun to drive.
8.2
The 2011 Kia Soul is fashion-forward and fun-to-drive—and unlike most of its urban-wagon rivals, it's just as practical as it looks.
8.0
The 2011 Mazda3 provides more driving enjoyment than most other small-car models, along with a stylish, racy look; but with a tight, noisy cabin, it’s not without compromise.
7.8
The 2011 Suzuki SX4 Crossover remains the most affordable all-wheel-drive car, while the other SX4 models are sporty, well-configured, and a strong value.
