How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

Lincoln's competition in the near-luxury market is growing more frail.

Volvo's S60 can be a strong performer in the right guise, and it's much more sleek looking than some of the other cars that hail from its home continent.

The Lexus ES sedan has never pretended to be sporty, but its 2013 edition is lovely, with more rear-seat space and a new hybrid model.

The Audi A4's overdue for a diesel version, but its turbocharged four is a suitable replacement for larger-displacement V-6 models, and its performance feels lighter and more nimble than its more prestigious German colleagues.

Acura's TL is a reasonable choice for tech-friendly shoppers.

Finally, there's the Buick LaCrosse, a less spacious sedan with its own brand of visual intrigue, but lower gas mileage and a bigger dose of big-car dynamics.
