How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

The Lincoln MKX doesn't quite compete on brand prestige, at least in some circles, but it does offer some of the best in-cabin technology on the market.

Yet other models are finally competing with Ford and Lincoln here.

For instance, Cadillac's touchscreen system uses iPad-like touch and voice controls in the same way as MyLincoln Touch.

Lexus' Remote Touch mouse controller runs functions on most versions of the RX 350; unlike its competitors, the Lexus also comes in hybrid trim, though fuel-economy benefits are debatable.

The Volkswagen Touareg has a simpler interface, but it offers decent off-road ability and a sturdy, luxurious interior.

Also, the Volvo XC60 is quiet and nicely styled inside, as well as near the front of the pack in safety; but its design looks dated (it's due to be replaced) and its gas mileage and infotainment lags.
