Connectivity is the calling card of the 2012 Lincoln MKX, and none of its direct competitors even come close to its technology.

Still, there's something to recommend every one.

The Lexus RX 350 isn't as distinctive as the MKX, but it's even quieter inside.

Cadillac's SRX is one of the better-equipped vehicles in its class, and it gets a new V-6 engine this year, but it's not a hard-charging performer.
