The MKS excels at a uniquely American style of luxury.
It's quicker than the Acura RL, and it beats that sedan on technology--although the RLX, a replacement, is due this next year.
Meanwhile, the Lexus GS 350 is new for 2013, and we're curious to see how it stacks up against the MKS.
The six-cylinder Volvo S80 is related to the MKS, but lacks the turbo option and has a much plainer interior, too.
For an offbeat choice, we suggest a drive in the Chrysler 300--especially the SRT8 version, with its throbbing horsepower and its very competitive price, even against the base MKS.
Although the Chrysler's interior simply isn't as spacious and comfortable.
