How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

Five-passenger crossovers with luxury nameplates are usually smaller than the Lexus RX 350.

The Lincoln MKX is in the same size class and has a unique take on upscale accommodations to go with its sizable curb weight and mediocre cargo room.

The Cadillac SRX was all-new last year, and reintroduced as a lower-priced, more mainstream rival to the RX; it's more visually exciting, though not really that much more exciting to drive (except the turbo model, which is being discontinued).

The most surprising competitor to the Lexus RX is the Nissan Murano, with its urbane good looks and flexible V-6 performance making up for its lackluster transmission, cargo space, and dealer experience.
