TCC Rating
How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

Minivans are the best way to move mass quantities of people and cargo, and some minivans are better for the task than others.

The Chrysler minivans, both the Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country, are older designs but earn top safety scores in the class, have new powertrains and interiors, and offer the best seat flexibility and entertainment options in the class.

The Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey were new for the 2011 model year, and the Sienna's four-cylinder option is a frugal choice, while Honda's pricing means paying top dollar just to get a six-speed automatic and Bluetooth.

The new Nissan Quest is a little smaller than all these minivans, and feels it--but it's the least convenient, with small side-door openings and seats that don't fold flat into the floor.

The 2012 Chrysler Town & Country isn't substantially different from the Dodge Grand Caravan, but it's fully equipped and a significant bargain compared to well-equipped minivans from Japan.

TCC Rating
The 2012 Honda Odyssey is the priciest of the minivans, but innovative seating and excellent handling set it apart from all the rest.

TCC Rating
It's less spacious and less flexible than before, but the 2012 Nissan Quest drives better than other minivans.
/ 10
TCC Rating
It's not as flexible as some minivans, but the 2012 Toyota Sienna is large, safe, and still has options for four-cylinder power and all-wheel drive.
