The 2013 Viper is likely to stand in a class by itself except for the likes of the 2012 Corvette ZR1, at least in terms of performance-to-price ratio.
Some of the Italian and German exotics will likely run with, or at least get close to, the Viper's ultimate pace, but at three times the cost.
We'll have to wait until further details on the Viper emerge to compare further, but if it delivers on the promise of a more refined, luxurious version of its extreme-performance forbear, it will be one of the top supercars in the world--at any price.
