How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

The 2010 Cadillac Escalade EXT is without a real competitor in its class of one.

The Chevrolet Avalanche shares its architecture and its Midgate, but it's half as costly and half as glitzy.

The Land Rover Range Rover might fit the exclusive bill, and Land Rover probably wishes more of its owners would use it a little more thoroughly than the dainty celebrities who usually drive them.

The EXT's crosstown rival, the Lincoln Navigator, doesn't quite draw the crowd that the Escalade does, but it's definitely an alternative here.

There's no pickup bed, but the Navigator makes do with a more sedate, quietly elegant cabin and a cleaner overall look.
