How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.

The 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe and sedan represent Cadillac’s best effort yet to challenge the German luxury stalwarts on their home turf.

BMW’s 3-Series is a touch softer and larger than it once was, and the ATS is a tick nicer inside, too.

The Audi A4 is slower and softer than the ATS, though its Google Earth and Audi Connect elements give it an edge on the tech front.

Mercedes-Benz’s C-Class has perhaps the best interior available in the segment thanks to its latest redesign, but lacks some of the performance punch of the ATS.

Infiniti’s Q50 and Q40 sedans offer even more dramatic styling than the ATS, as well as impressive performance, but lack some of the technology and refinement of the Cadillac.

The 2015 Infiniti Q50 continues as a more luxurious successor to the fabled G sedan, although in some forms it loses part of the enthusiast flavor of that model.

Forget this model's recent past; the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class takes a half-step up in size and a full step ahead of its peer set in sophistication -- and it's now one very charming luxury car.
