The Jaguar XKR-S and XKR-R, while not quite as expensive or exclusive as the Aston Martin Vanquish, offer much of the same style and grand-touring appeal--and potentially even more performance.

Porsche's 911 is much the same as the Jaguar XK line in this regard, though at the pointy end, the 911 Turbo S and discontinued GT2 far exceed the Vanquish's performance for a much lower price tag--though it forgoes the bespoke element.

Ferrari's F12 Berlinetta is perhaps the Vanquish's most natural competition, itself a potent V-12-powered grand tourer with elegance and luxury in excess.

The Lamborghini Aventador is another similar formula, though its violent nature and compact cockpit make it substantially less comfortable.
