The Acura TSX’s distinctly Japanese feel puts it at odds with the slightly more upscale feel you’ll get from the other front-drive sedans and wagons from European automakers.
They may have more luxurious cabins—maybe—but the Audi A4 and Volvo V50 have no handling advantage over the Acura, nor any pricing or reliability advantage.
The badges may be a bit more prestigious, though.
The TSX sedan could be pitted against the much more expensive BMW 3-Series Sport Wagon, but in truth its toughest competition will be Acura’s own RDX crossover, which has available all-wheel drive, a whizzy four-cylinder engine with turbo power on the option sheet, but not much more cargo capacity.
