Bottomline The 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe provides most of the practicality of the Altima sedan, with a lot more style. Subaru is finally taking its all-wheel-drive message into the mid-size sedan mainstream, and it’s done so almost flawlessly with the 2010 Legacy.

  • Four-cylinder is peppy, manual gearbox is economical
  • Good front seats
  • Crisp handling without impacting ride

Dislikes:

  • Trunk opening is small
  • Some road noise on rough surfaces
  • Headroom can be tight for some

Likes:

  • Refined feel and quiet cabin
  • Smooth ride, yet responsive handling
  • All-weather ability, no matter which engine
  • Acceleration in 2.5GT and 3.6R
  • Especially roomy backseat

Dislikes:

  • Bluetooth interface not available on base 2.5i
  • Knuckles hit hazard button when shifting
