Bottomline The 2008 Jeep Commander is good Jeep (a trail-capable vehicle), but it's not a great people mover. If you tow and off-road with the family, the 2008 Nissan Pathfinder is one of the better traditional truck-based SUVs available.

  • Available tech features such as Bluetooth and Music Box

  • Rather hard ride
  • Skimpy front seats
