Bottomline The 2008 Honda Fit is one of the smallest cars on the road, but it’s fun to drive, huge inside, and a tremendous value. The 2008 Hyundai Accent delivers econocar basics with a high-quality interior and fun handling for a great price. The 2009 Kia Rio doesn't quite measure up in the details, but it's a pretty good choice among subcompacts.
