Bottomline The 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac offers good versatility in an unremarkable package. With the addition of the new V-8 option, the 2009 GMC Canyon goes from unappealing to quite competitive. The 2008 Honda Ridgeline is a flexible light-duty truck with a plush feel, but it can't tackle all the tasks a full-size truck does well.
