Bottomline Especially with the improved V-8, the 2008 Dodge Dakota can do most of what a full-size truck can while consuming fewer resources in the process. The 2009 Nissan Frontier is a dependable, tough vehicle that can handle a lot in a work situation but isn't out of place in more suburban pursuits.
