Bottomline The Caliber has a very practical layout and quite a few innovative features to get excited about, but it's lacking in driving enjoyment or refinement--even compared to its low-priced competition. The 2008 Suzuki Reno still looks good against rivals, has a roomy interior, and offers a lot of features for the money, but its aged design counts against it in nearly all other areas.
