Bottomline Families can do much better with any of the more modern crossover SUV designs—including Chevy’s own Traverse—but the 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer is still a good vehicle for towing purposes. If you tow and off-road with the family, the 2008 Nissan Pathfinder is one of the better traditional truck-based SUVs available.
