Bottomline Families can do much better with any of the more modern crossover SUV designs—including Chevy’s own Traverse—but the 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer is still a good vehicle for towing purposes. The 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee works well on road and trail, but a cramped interior and low fuel economy indicate that there are better choices for suburban families.
