Bottomline If most of your driving is around town with little interstate travel, the 2009 Chevrolet Aveo and Aveo5 are worth a look, especially if you want a bow tie out front. The 2009 Kia Rio doesn't quite measure up in the details, but it's a pretty good choice among subcompacts.
