Bottomline The 2008 BMW 6-Series is overwrought and overstocked with technology that distracts even from the M6’s heroic performance. The eye-catching 2009 Cadillac XLR starts with the sharp-edged Corvette and makes some compromises for the sake of grand-touring luxury. The 2008 Lexus SC 430 offers a unique shape, a folding hardtop, and the Lexus experience, but the "bathtub" look is a major drawback in a class of beautiful convertibles.
