Bottomline The 2008 BMW 6-Series is overwrought and overstocked with technology that distracts even from the M6’s heroic performance. The eye-catching 2009 Cadillac XLR starts with the sharp-edged Corvette and makes some compromises for the sake of grand-touring luxury. On par in performance with its German competitors but far better looking, the 2009 XK is simply the best mainstream Jaguar ever.
