Bottomline The 2008 Acura TSX is far from the freshest sport sedan design, but it remains one of the most sensible and fun-to-drive. The 2008 Audi A4 is a competent, high-quality entry-level import that’s in its last year of production. The 2008 Nissan Maxima is a bit more aesthetically appealing than a top-of-the-line Altima or Accord, but it doesn’t perform any better.

  • Back-seat is tight for adults

  • Hesitant automatic transmission

  • Available rear-side airbags

  • Rear seats are snug
  • Wagon (Avant) not too spacious
  • Multi-Media Interface (MMI)

  • Very quiet, comfortable cabin

  • Outside styling doesn’t stand out from the Altima
  • V-6 doesn’t feel sporty with CVT automatic
  • No standard stability control in a top-of-the-line model
