When I bought my 2012 Cruze, one of my major guidelines was a very favorable safety rating by the IIHS and Conumer Reports.. Now we have 2 recalls within 6 months. What gives?

I would be curious to fend this question about 2011 1.4 L turbo (automatic) Cruze owners/drivers: How is your transmission been doing? Sluggish or not smooth between gears? Please advise if you've had issues. Thanks!

Interesting- I found out about this upcoming recall after I took my 2012 Cruze to the dealership because my brakes FAILED as i was backing out of my driveway. Thank God no other cars were coming. There was no "intermittant reduction or loss of brake assist. THERE WAS COMPLETE FAILURE!!! They claim "such a condition would require extra pedal force"- well hard to do when your foot goes straight to the floor board and you have NO brakes! GM says the car is safe to drive until all the necessary parts are made and the recall is issued! Great- GM- put a member of YOUR family in a car that has already had one absolute brake failure. How SAFE is that?

Sounds good. Great vehicle driving it is a dream. Can go anywhere, great economy 7.5 - 8.5 lts per 100. Can’t beat it. Had the D Altitude for 7 months much bigger than the Paj and a lot more comfortable.I have Automotive Repair Tempe AZ manual for fixing any kind of issues. I really enjoyed driving this car.
