The '05 Altima is the most interesting to me. The VQ35 series of engines are simply stellar. I was in the market for a fun-yet-practical 4-door last year. If this Altima SE-R had been for sale in my area, it might have ended up in my driveway. I'm a big Nissan/Datsun fan, having had a 1982 200SX as my first car and a 1988 200SX V6 in my driveway as a project right now. Last year I was DD'ing a 1996 200SX SE-R, but as my daughter grew, I knew I wanted a 4-door. I ended up with a 2005 Sentra SE-R Spec V. It shares the 2.5-liter VVT engine with the base Altima, but with higher compression. I LOVE this car. It has its faults, but the 175 HP and and 180 ft-lbs of torque are very similar to the output of the VG30E in my '88 200SX.
