    But how much does it cost you to replace those metal plates? Wouldn't the rechargable AA works better here?

    Of course, unless you want to experiement with those technology which isn't all that new...

    $2 per 6 plates. They say it lasts as long as a regular AA, so 2 bucks for 6 AA batteries is pretty good.
