Can you spell UGLY? This thing looks a lot like that Nissan Joke that should be in a comic strip. Personally, I'd never own a jeep as I've driven borrowed and rental ones over the years. They are very poorly made, noisy, and uncomfortable to be in for any lengths of time. As far as "trail-rated?" Yeah, that made me laugh after seeing this photo. A nine speed tranny sounds good - I wish my 4Runner had another gear or two - but I'll bet they have reliability problems when they first come out.

My brother traded in his Grand Cherokee last year. It only had 175,000 miles on it. What did he get.....a new Grand Cherokee. I went on a 600 mile road trip with him and it road great.

Front end looks cheap. A bunch of parts that don’t work together. What’s with those squinty headlights? Overall, this “Jeep" looks too car-like, like a Hyundai wagon.

Reminds me of the Nissan Juke, with a "guess which lights are the headlights" look. Overall it may take some adjustment to the modernized look, but I'll reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh.

I'm guessing that they weren't really going for the "bat face" theme on the front-end? Not exactly sure I understand the need for yet another car-based crossover from Jeep. The Cherokee name is more associated with utility and toughness, and this looks more suited for hauling groceries and kids over a few speed bumps. That market is already saturated.

I like the modern look. Jeep has finally joined the 21st century.

Finally new Cherokee is coming.. I think new design and engine optimization is perfect. Yes, price is a little bit high but Jeep quality always deserve that.
