This guy obviously hasn't done his research because Infiniti released its President's entire statement to Facebook subscribers online these plans, which also directly answers the question posed in this article of whether or not the "X" will remain going forward as a signature of their vehicles' AWD capabilities. Direct quote from the Infiniti Facebook post: "...And no, we won’t call all-wheel drive models Q50X or QX50X. The fact that a model may feature four wheel drive, will be indicated by specific badging describing this feature on the car, and is not part of the model name." So, there you go. The "X" is no longer to be. Btw, I own an Infiniti G37x, and I absolutely LOVE it!!! Hands down best luxury vehicle I have ever owned. Impeccable.

Could care less do not like Infiniti cars and find the look generic and just unattractive .Lexus and Infiniti just look bad and I will buy a Cadillac ,Audi or BMW over the Japanese .Even worse is the horrendous Equus from Hyundai .Asian cars are just volume vehicles nothing special in my book.

Would someone really be shallow (stupid?) enough to base their decision to buy a $40k+ car on whether they liked the sound of the model name?
