    Yeah. Cause you can't burn coal to generate electricity in California. Instead they buy electricity from Colorado who burn coal to generate it!
    As long us it's not in my backyard..........

    I am one of those "idiots" who drive a Chevrolet Volt and I can honestly say I love my "stupid" car. It is the best car I have ever owned by far. I drive only electric miles but at one time was forced to go gas for a few miles and used 2.2 gallons. So far I have driven 5,500 electric miles for which I have paid about $160 in electric costs vs $792 dollars if I had purchased gas. But to me the biggest payback is knowing I am driving clean or as clean as I can be. Last time I bought gas was Dec 22 2011; a day I will remember for it is the last time I buy gas.
