The primary design brief for the Nano was to develop the lowest cost alternative to a motorcycle. However, at four times the price of a motorcycle in India, it was too expensive for that market. India is very class conscious, so the Nano was not bought by people who could afford it since it would signal a reduction in class. It is the Tata Pixel that should be the basis for an American version. With its unique spin-in-your-own-body-length differential, it would offer an ability no other vehicle presently has. Tata has shown itself to be a master of parsimony in a world dominated by complexity. If Tata could produce a sub-$10,000 serial hybrid, it would sell. Tata may be the only manufacturer who could be able to accomplish that task.

This is the older smaller Tata........I am looking for the big Tatas. I heard a couple of newer bigger Tata's were coming. When can I get a peak at the big Tatas?

Are the big Tata's going to be perkier than the old ones?
