My running average over 10,000 miles of mixed driving 50 Hwy/50 City is 39 mpg in a regular 4 cyl 2012 Camry. It gets good mpg because of the way I drive it. It is rated at 28 mpg combined.

also, in a 29-mpg Fusion 1.6 would cost you $2,068, (only if you get 29 mpg which is highly unlikely) for instance i have a focus 2012 rated at 27-37 and i'm getting no more than 24 mpg based on my driving. Sucks actually.

Drivers get mpg not cars. The 12 Focus I imagine is hard to drive in manner to get good mpg. It is sporty and encourges spirited driving. I've gotten over 20 mpg in a full size pick up by using hypermiling techniques.
