Hyundai cant Compete with Toyota. Elantra is lacking research and development. need to get rid of that Grainy feel to its cars. too much engine vibes coming through the body. Funky Chinese electronics will only get you so far.....

Both are so old fashion and I would be embarrassed to be caught driving either. They are just too down scale so I would buy a used car instead .My choice in this class would be Focus,3 or Jetta over these low rent car's.

Yeah the Elantra looks great, but it has yet to prove itself of having the bulletproof quality or real world gas mileage of the Corolla.

If it succeeds on those two points, Toyota is going to have a huge challenge in upping their game. If not, people who take a chance on the sexy sheet metal of the Hyundai will go back to the stress free ownership experience of the Plain Jane Corolla.

Toyota Corolla is still and will still be the most sold care in the world. the reliability overcomes it design exterior or interior flaws. i still yet have never seen a hyundai with 500,000 miles or more.

You'll never see a Hyundai with 500,000 miles in the U.S., as Hyundai has only been 24 years in the American market, while Toyota has 54 years in the American market. You'll have to visit Korea to see them. If you do not see a Toyota with 500,000 miles with all his years in the U.S. market then it will be a piece of junk . With fewer years in the market Hyundai has a better progress than 6 decades of Toyota leading the market.
