I know that there are many Wrangler fans out there, but wow. Can someone besides Chrysler build this thing? Never ending quality issues. And so many people buy them and never do anything that they were designed for. You end with with a heavy vehicle with poor on road capabilities with little room and bad gas mileage because....well, I have no idea why....

Often, more specifically with the Wrangler, after market parts are installed, sometime incorrectly that can cause something like this. It happened to a friend when he added several lights to his his Toyota FX and a fire did insue a month later. Dealers are always adding something, alarms over alarms, etc., for additional profit.

Wouldn't it stand to reason that if it was dealer adds that it would be easier to define the actual issue? Most dealers add the same things to a good majority of a particular model. I do agree that improperly installed aftermarket parts are a possible issue.
