Ford is trying too hard again on the styling front. The old Escape is one of the few Fords I still like along with the Flex. Where is the diesel??????

Since diesel costs about 50 cents more per gallon than gasoline, I'd be surprised if there was enough demand to justify it.

You obviously have never driven a diesel and don't understand the advantages of a diesel even with a 50 cent penalty. I drive one and do understand. Ford doesn't.

Good looking vehicle. All the electronics make me nervous though, I am from that generation that the human though fallible is still best for me.

Ugh. Why couldn't Ford just bring over the Kuga as is? The design and wheels from the 2009 concept were great. Everything done to it since then has gone downhill. The only thing I like in any of the photo galleries is the woman's ass in gallery 2, picture 3. That I want. The car? Pfft.

From the side it looks like a ripoff of one of the small Jeeps.

Just not too sure about the instrument panel. It's irregular shape along with the vents might get some use to. This is where I think Ford tried too hard to be "different".

Now that's some cool styling! CR-V looks positively dowdy next to this missile. I would still prefer a diesel hybrid that gets 50+ MPG, but I guess I'll have to wait until next year.

No hybrid version? Another mistake from Ford. The current Escape Hybrid is a great vehicle and sells well. Younger buyers are not going to like the look of the future C-max Hybrid wagon styling.

I'm not too keen on the two jutting eyes on the instrument panel.
A bit over done Ford don't ya think?
