    Finally it took an outsider to see that producing one vehicle with two different grilles and selling them in separate stores did not make enough additional sales to justify the costs.

    If Chrysler would have done this oh so many years ago they would still be part of the "Big Three". Plus they would not had to get bailed out. To make things worst when Chrysler was sold off by Uncle Sam(US Tax Payers)they/we still lost money!!

    Hopefully GM will also decide to axe their own duplications like the GMC Sierra and Chevy Silveraldo twins whose seperate identities cost GM the title of " Best selling Pickup" to Ford.
    By the way, Chrysler still has to address the issue of the patriot/compass duplicants within the jeep brand alone.

    @Larry, both the Patriot and the Compass will go away in 2013, replaced by a single crossover based on a Fiat platform.
