It's funny that this notice came out in 2011 and I just received mine last week. I have a 2005 trailblazer LT that would be covered under the 10 year part but it has 150,000 miles which came first. It may have been covered under both if I had gotten the notice sooner. My wife has been driving it like this for about 2-3 years but I could not afford the cost of the repair. She keeps up with the gas used by resetting the gal. used indicator and resetting the trip mileage(pain in the butt). You would think GM would cover their product no matter what yet they want us to buy American made cars. My wife loves the suv and wants to keep it. I just feel GM needs to be responsible and back their product if it breaks. Thank you.
