    I understand the trade-in ad and it makes sense but "no payments for life" is really cool - I just wish I knew how it worked and what the switch was...

    @cracovian, if you pay for the car in cash, with no financing involved, you'll have no payments for the life of the car. In other words, the dealer was just offering to let customers pay cash as an alternative to financing.

    Oh, that's so nice of them to give the customers that lovely option :-) So they were not really advertising a free car - I would have not paid the fine...

    Once again, it's nice to see the American suing machine working well. Pathetic story, not for how it's written, but for what it talks about. Car dealers...is it any wonder they garner the reputations they garner?
