    What defines/determines when an engine is considered a small block or a large block? I use to think it was cubic inches but now I'm not so sure.

    @Matt, it's not displacement, since there are small block engines with larger displacement than big block ones. The only way to really define a big block, as far as I know, is by the manufacturer's engine codes.

    GM has paid off their govt loans, long before they were expected or required to, and with interest. In fact, they paid them off almost TWO YEARS AGO. So instead of outdated, tasteless jokes about "Government Motors," why don't we give credit where credit is due? Keep up the good work, GM.
