The Cube? Sorta funky-ugly but somewhat agreeable. Uglier? The Nissan Juke.

The small tires on the Rondo make it look odd, cartoony. The Soul is much more distinctive, however, I'd rather have a Nissan Cube.

Re: The Canadians love affair with the Kia Rondo. I'm guessing it's due to French cultural influences. They also think the Citroen and Peugeot are great looking cars, too. I think KIA is in the forefront of automobile styling and technology -- I own a Forte. But the Rondo? A face only a grenouille could love.

I think Citroen especially have some of the best styled vehicles anywhere in the World today. Have you seen DS3 or the C5 Tourer http://bit.ly/pBMbGQ ? However, I do agree that the Rondo is a poor looker.

Gas is a lot more expensive in Canada. So while Americans drive gas guzzling huge minivans and SUVs, Canadians look for similar versatility in 5-door efficient cars.

No such thing as a 5-door car. It's a hatchback.
