I don't understand why people are so surprised that Toyota can create a cool and stylish product--especially when the company has an ENTIRE line of vehicles that quickly earned street cred among American youth--Scion. Toyota took a huge risk by bring the kei car-ish, boxy xB to America--and it was a hit. So was the tC. Both cars were quickly embraced by the Fast and Furious tuner set, and if that doesn't prove that Toyota has 'edge' than I don't know what does.

I'm glad they are (finally) selling this car here in the US -- well very soon at least.

I'd be a lot happier if it had Stop/Start technology and if they had used their 1L 3-cylinder engine that get about 55+MPG. This is a perfect sized car for me: commuting and then picking up my two kids -- my son is nearly my height ('6'-4") will fit just fine.

I'm averaging 45+MPG in my Scion xA, so I would expect the iQ to at least equal this.

Scion needs to give us a stick shift for this car, and better gas mileage.
