    So does changing the channel on the radio count as "distracted driving"?
    This opens up a can of worms as to what the definition is of "distracted driving".

    Matt, it certainly does, and ultimately it will pit the NHTSA (who opposes any distraction inside a vehicle) against automakers (who need to build vehicles that the public will buy).

    Is there a difference between talking to your car (voice integration) and talking to a friend on a hands-free cell phone? No one really knows.

    Kurt, happy to see can see the long range implications of this law. Unfortunately I don't think the NHTSA is looking beyond their nose on this one.
