I believe the current Suburban is one of the best American vehicles ever. I'm glad they'll make it even better (hopefully lighter with more gears too.) I do think that the Tahoe is pointless though (too short!) and the hybrid drive in the Suburban would make it perfect w/ 20+ MPG all around. I'd probably get one.

It's time to see the 4.5-liter Duramax diesel engine offered as an option on these vehicles; as well as the improved next-generation two-mode hybrid system (and a beefed-up ECO-Assist system (BAS-plus) as a lower cost alternative option). All gas engines should include direct-injection. It's also time to move to an independent heavy-duty rear suspension with self leveling option.

I wonder why the Duramax 6600 has never been available on the current generation of Yukon/Suburban 2500 unlike their pickup trucks siblings.

please gm, bring back the Hummer! will always like them. But put a diesel in them.

GM needs to make the rear seats of these vehicles fold down into the floor, like the Expedition and Navigator. Otherwise, there's no use folding the rear seats, they have to be completely removed. Hopefully they'll improve this with the new models.

Guys just got my 2014 Suburban. Traded my 2012 Range Rover HSE in for it. What a great ride. Roomy and well laid out. Rides and handles better then the Range Rover. Bought my Suburban from Arroyo Grande, Ca. Chevrolet Dealership. Got great service, great price. Mike
