    I believe dealers are talking "trade in" value and not "private party" value. Still, it's a good price for some old junkers, which is why dealers always qualify their offers by requiring a physical inspection before guaranteeing value. Good luck.

    Yeah, I know :-) I was joking too - no one would want my "12 MPG monster" anyway even though it still looks new. How times change... We bought it new in 2002 when gas was cheaper than water. Now I can't wait to replace it with the LEAF.

    I received a letter from a dealer saying I could get $30,500 or more for my 2010 Chrysler 300C w/less than 5,000 miles. After visiting the dealer they came back with $27,000. What a waste of time.
