    Nice post. No one will be surprised to see Chrysler grasping for aftermarket dollars. In fact, it is almost surprising that it did not do so previously. However, as you mention, the move to expand services may have an impact on parts sales to independent dealers and mechanics, particularly those situated close to a Chrysler dealership that is actively reaching for the customers of independent shops. Perhaps they should have staggered these changes, announcing their aftermarket auto parts line prior to their service enhancements in order to avoid generating ill will in the aftermarket industry during the critical launch phase of a new product.
    Industry observers and investors will be watching closely to see how this shakes out!
